This year we have moved the race to the Saturday and all participants over 18 can avail of a free pint afterwards in the Tramore Inn beside the finish line. We intend to party and cheer on the full Moo runners into the evening and then continue the party on into Saturday night after the prize giving in the Pub.

There are no late entry fees, and you can still sign up on race day.
1) 10K Mini Moo
13.1 miles / 21 km - Semi-Skimmed
3) Full 26.2 mile Moo - Full Fat
The course is a loop course, 1 loop for the 13.1 Semi-Skimmed Moo and 2 loops for the 26.2 Moo
The 10K Mini Moo will be a single loop route along Atlantic Drive with beautiful vews of the coast.
The scenery is incredible.
Walkers / Runners:
Walkers are welcome in the 10K and 13.1 miles but for the 26.2 Moo only runners will be allowed. For the full 26.2 Moo, there is a cut-off time of 6 hours

Race expo and race packet pick up will be on Saturday at the Official race hotel from 3pm - 6pm.
There are no official buses arranged but please contact us if you need transport otherwise participants must make their own way to race start. There is plenty of parking in Downings.

All Finishers will get a special finishers medal that actually Moos!
There are also prizes for Overal First, 2nd and 3rd, for best fancy dress and for the fastest Corporate and Club Teams.
The Official Prize giving will be after the race in the Tramore Inn in Downings.
All entrants MUST wear black and white clothing on race day.
Anyone at the starting line who is not wearing black and white may be disqualified at the discretion of the Race Director.
Other acceptable apparel includes horns, bells, black & white body paint and cow suits of any colour. Mooooo
Any unsportsmanlike conduct will be dealt with by immediate disqualification.
Any littering along the course outside of the Milking station zones will mean disqualification - we hate litterbugs!
All cows must stay on the left side of the road and let faster cows past on the right. Anyone consistently getting in the way of cows behind them will be beaten!
As a general principal we hate rules and being told what to do, but we want to have a safe and enjoyable event so the rules above must be abided by all entrants.
Race Packet pick-up:
Race packet pick up TBC.
This includes - Race t-shirt, race number, and goody bag. We will also have sports equipment and apparel etc for sale as well.
Entrants can also register and collect their numbers on race day in Downings if necessary from 8am - 9.45am.
We've experimented with a number of milking station setups but there will be at least 3 manned milking stations along each 13.1 mile section of the course and one at the finish line. Sports drinks will be available as well as some basic first aid and radios/phones for calling for help.
We will have a team challenge whereby the fastest 3 people in each division will have their times averaged.
Fastest teams will win a Trophy
